This is the English version of the Chinese song "A Girl at 18 Is Like A Flower." It was sung by the Swedish musician Sofia Kllgren, who is the first Western singer to sign a contract with the Chinese Record Corporation (CRC), China's leading record company, to publish new albums.

This is one of the songs from Kllgren's album "Eastward Westward Vol. 1," which was published in 2005. The album contains 11 famous Chinese songs that Kllgren sang in English. In that year, Kllgren had a concert tour in China, performing in a number of Chinese cities, including Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Wuhan, and Qingdao, achieving great success. In 2006, her second album of the English versions of Chinese songs, called "Eastward Westward Vol. 2 -- New Language of Folk Songs," was published.
